A written demand may be sent out to the company at the same time a Labor Standards Complaint Form for overdue earnings is filed with the Division. The Labor Standards Complaint Form can be found on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements website.
Employer Responses in Investigations: Once a total Labor Standards Complaint Form is gotten and reviewed, a letter explaining the nature of the problem and the quantities declared to be owed is sent out to the employer. To learn more about the examination process, please review the Wage & Hour Claim Investigations – Employer FAQs web page.
Investigations Launched by the Division (” Direct Investigations”): The Division might carry out employer-wide direct investigations of potential violations of and hour law. If you would like to submit a suggestion, please email the Division at cdle_di_tips@state.co.us. If you want to file an individual claim for unpaid earnings, you should complete a Labor Standards Complaint Form on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements web page.
